This year’s conference is going virtual to help keep us all safe and healthy yet continue to provide opportunities for growth. There have been a lot of changes in our ABA community and the entire world. Over the last six months we have all had to take on new roles, acquire new skills, evaluate our communities and actions, and think outside the box more than ever. With all these challenges and changes in mind, this led the conference committee to the theme “Lessons learned and the future direction of ABA services”. The conference will examine how the pandemic has changed and reshaped the ABA service model and how our field is changing for the better. In alignment with our promise to increase diversity and inclusion, ORABA is including presentations that will address cultural diversity and making conscious choices with invited speakers to support BIPOC professionals. The conference committee is busy organizing our keynote and invited speakers and will share details soon. We will miss seeing our community in-person this year, but hope to see you all, virtually.
